Northern Border University is a Saudi public university with a scholarship





Internal scholarship students are subject to the admission requirements that apply to Saudis in higher education institutions.

The student must be residing in the Kingdom with a valid legal residence before the start of the study.

The age of the applicant shall not be less than (17) years and not more than (25) years for the undergraduate stage, (30) years for the master's stage, and (35) years for the doctoral stage, and the Council of the educational institution has the right to make an exception from this.

He must have a high school diploma or its equivalent from inside or outside the Kingdom.

His secondary school certificate must be issued by a government school or an equivalent school at the university

- No more than five years have passed since obtaining the General Secondary Certificate.

The student must be of good conduct and behavior.

To be medically fit.

To undertake to abide by the rules and regulations of the university.

- To pass any test or personal interview conducted by the relevant authority.

- To be committed to full-time study and not be authorized to work.

To have a certificate of general aptitude test and achievement test if his secondary certificate is from within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

- Female students must be accompanied by a (Muharram), provided that the Muharram holds a valid residence permit.

The certificates and identification papers must be certified by the competent authorities.

Scholarship students are entitled to apply to all majors at the university except for health majors.

Not to be accepted in one of the educational institutions in the Kingdom.

He must fulfill any other conditions determined by the University Council and announced at the time of application.

The mechanism for accepting internal scholarship students

1. Applications for internal scholarships are made electronically through the university’s website (Scholarship Agency) when announcing the opening of the application

3. The student's data is submitted to the Ministry of Education electronically.

4. The student will be notified of his admission to the university if his application is accepted and approved



Conditions to be met by an external scholarship student.

The scholarship student is not entitled to transfer from one university to another, and the university has the right to make an exception from this in the cases it deems appropriate.

The university may require letters of recommendation or recommendation for the student from one of the bodies, institutions, or personalities accepted by the university.

The mechanism for accepting external grants

1. Applications for external grants are submitted through: a- The Kingdom's embassies and representatives abroad. B - Outstanding students are attracted by the Northern Border University. C - The student applies electronically through the university's website. 2. The student's data is checked and verified for accuracy. 3. The applications of the applicants are sorted.. 4. The accepted student is notified to review the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to approve and ratify his documents. 5. The student is issued the necessary visa and notified of this to complete his travel procedures to the Kingdom. 6. The student nominated for admission will be contacted.


Paperwork:

- A copy of the high school diploma with transcripts, translated into Arabic or English, after being certified by the Saudi embassy or the cultural attaché in the student's country.

A copy of a valid passport, with a validity period of not less than six months

- All letters of recommendation or recommendation for the student from one of the bodies, institutions, or personalities accepted by the university.

A certificate of absence of precedents from the security services in his country.

An approval from the government of his country to allow him to study at the university, or a statement that the law in his country allows the student to travel to any country to study

- A recent medical report with the safety of the organs and senses and the freedom from infectious diseases issued by an accredited medical center and certified by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.


General Provisions

- The external scholarship student must leave the Kingdom after completing his studies, within a period not exceeding three months from the date of its completion.

If the original program period has expired, it may not be extended by more than half of it.

The scholarship applicant is subject to the Kingdom's residency regulations.

The student is on the university record during the scholarship.

The scholarship student is not entitled to transfer from Northern Border University to any other university, and the university has the right to make an exception in the cases it deems appropriate.

The external scholarship applicant is prohibited from working for companies, institutions, or individuals during the study period.

The rules, regulations, and instructions in force at the university are applied to the scholarship applicant.

- Students coming from the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council are treated as Saudi students with regard to not having to issue a residence or travel visa.
