Our hotels’ teams consist by highly motivated individuals! 

They love Greek hospitality & wish to offer an added value service to the visitors in order to offer them a great holiday experience.

Join our hotels' team  in Corfu for the 2021 season. We are looking for an intern to start from July in our hotels AQUARIUS BEACH ECO - HOTEL & 9 MUSES SEAVIEW STUDIOS.

Internship period may vary from 3 months to 4 months.

Interested interns are asked to send a Curriculum Vitae & letter of recommendation. If selected, the internship contract from University is required.

  • Front Office Management and Guest Relations : Social media marketing,  replying to guest messages and reviews, assisting guests and ensuring that they have the best holiday, checking rates and ensuring correct operation of online channel sales etc, ensuring that night arrivals have arrived and are securely allocated in their rooms.
  • Housekeeping - Assisting and helping housekeepers to perform more effectively
  • Hotel Management and Operations  - learning hands on the operations of two different hotels on a daily basis, understanding how hotel sales are performed, participating actively in improving hotel performance, organizing campaigns, learning how to handle guest complaints and ensuring harmonious operations.

We will provide:

- Free shared accommodation in the hotel

- EUR100 per month allowance

La Roche University is a proud participant in the #YouAreWelcomeHere scholarship program.

La Roche University will offer annual $17,000 renewable scholarships to selected international undergraduate students dedicated to advancing intercultural learning and understanding at La Roche University.

Who can apply for the #YouAreWelcomeHere scholarship?

First-year undergraduate international students who have applied to La Roche University for Fall 2021 can apply for the #YouAreWelcomeHere scholarship. All academic majors and fields of study are welcome to apply.

How much tuition does it cover?

A #YouAreWelcomeHere scholarship is $17,000 per year and can be renewed on an annual basis for up to 4 years (annual year includes Fall and Spring semesters only). You must be enrolled and successfully complete a minimum of 12 credits (exception may be granted) for Fall and Spring semesters.

How do I know if I’m eligible for this scholarship? 

There are a few eligibility requirements:

  • You are a Fall 2021 first-year international undergraduate applicant to a participating college or university. An international applicant is an individual who holds citizenship in a country outside the United States and who does not also possess U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
  • You demonstrate interest and initiative in activities involving intercultural learning and exchange.
  • You have completed the scholarship application and a 500-1,000-word essay or a two- to five-minute video describing your leadership skills in your school or community, and how you plan to continue applying your leadership skills at La Roche University.

How can I apply for this scholarship at La Roche? 

Required steps to apply for the #YouAreWelcomeHere scholarship include:

  • Apply for admission to La Roche University and submit all required application materials.
  • Complete a scholarship application, including a 500-1,000-word essay or a two- to five-minute video answering the following promt, "Tell us about your leadership skills in your school or community, and how you plan to continue applying your leadership skills at La Roche University."
  • Deadline for all required information is April 15, 2021.

This blended course, with online elements and a residential meeting, will bring authors/facilitators (to be) involved in online learning as well as the NAs/SALTOs staff interested in the topic. After this course your online learning will gain WINGS!

The aim

The aim of the course is twofold: to rise the understanding of what is QUALITY in online learning activities within non-formal education in youth field as well as to DISCOVER the potential of HOP online learning platform (www.HOP.salto-youth.net)

The 3 working days residential training will be introduced with short online session at HOP platform, that will make participants enriched with UNDERSTANDING quality in online learning, specifically in our youth work field and meeting the principles of non-formal education. The course will make participants more BRAVE to get engaged in online learning in different possible forms (blended learning, online preparations for residential trainings, fully online courses, etc.). The course will also make participants well ACQUAINTED with different possibilities to deliver online learning at HOP platform in an engaging, interactive and learner-centred way.

Participants' profile:

  • facilitator/author of online learning activities for NAs/SALTOs (the course is not intended for facilitators/authors of online learning in organisations, as HOP platform is for the time being open to TCA/NET activities only);
  • having support of the NA/SALTO that plans to be involved in online learning at the HOP platform;
  • having previous experience with facilitating/authoring online learning, preferably on Moodle;
  • speaking English;
